About Us

Big Sandy Creek Dairy Farm is a small family Dairy Farm. Farmer John's Dad moved his milking cows from a family dairy in Connecticut. The dairy has been in operation here in Georgia since 1950 when the first milking parlor was installed making it home to the first milking parlor in the state of Georgia. The farm has been in operation in that small parlor until May 2006 when Farmer John completed a brand new facility. Farmer John now has more time for his family- 3 daughters who are very active in agriculture. Everyone enjoys helping with farm chores. Some of the hobbies that the girls enjoy are playing the violin. That makes our cows the most cultured in the state.
