The boys from Cali. get it done by catching a BIG on Lake Buchanan! Doug Cole & Matt Ling win the dang thing with 7 fish that weighed 21.50 lbs. Doug Cole also takes over the BIG Bass Of the Year race by bringing in a Buchanan bucketmouth that weighed 7.00 lbs. Second Place went to local sticks Terry Kircus and Jason Buchanan. They finished just under 2 pounds behind the winners. Jason had to leave the event early due to a family emergency. Thoughts and prayers go out to Jason's wife. Honorable mention goes out to Hamza, who jacked 15.31 lbs. by himself on a jerkbait. Inks will be the our next stop and the big fish are sure to follow...

Meeting:
Next meeting will be at Uncle Buck's at Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock, TX on Mon. May 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The Big Sandy Creek Bass Club will discuss the Buchanan results. Details for our next tournament on Inks Lake will also be reviewed & finalized. Inks, Belton, Marble Falls, & Dunlap will be the next four destinations for the BSCBC this year. Should be a fun schedule and it's good to see Lake Dunlap back in the mix. Recent reports on Buchanan is that the bass might be finally biting, this might be a fun trip after all.
